Nattrassia mangiferae

Arbutus vase turned end grain and green, this was a large branch cut up and left as firewood in the last stump harvest we did. I saw the piece and thought this is way to cool to leave behind. Its not noticeable in this photo but anywhere you see black bark is a hollow crevice. !4" High X 6" diameter, bleached and finished with 1 coat of tung oil.
