Never Look Back- top detail

This piece has a decided Art Deco look. The cantilevered design required inserting several lead weights (sinkers) into holes drilled into the base. Lots of sinkers. The vessel is hollowed and made in 2 halves with the feature ring glued between the halves. It had to be pretty light so it wouldn't tip over.
This is headed to del Mano Gallery for their container show. Hope they don't send it back.
