No Opening Hollow Form

Tall ambrosia maple hollow form with no opening. Yes, it is hollow. The debate over how small an opening a hollow form can have is over. No opening is the new standard around here :) Of course I back hollowed it. I've been wanting to try this for a while and while it was not easy I did complete it. I had wanted some kind of finial at the top but in the end still had to hold it from the top to finish the plugged bottom. It's around 28 ounces now but might shed a bit more as it finishes drying. Don't worry, there are plenty of bug holes for air flow. 13x6" Finished with bees wax and linseed oil.
