Pink Ivory and Brazilian Rosewood Ornament

When I upgraded from a Sears tube lathe to a Powermatic 3520B my wife bought me piece, a small log of Pink Ivory. Now ten years or so latter I cut it in half to make something. The piece was good for a globe. My wife (Cindy) has always said that Rosewood is her favorite. So I made the finial/icicle from some Brazilian Rosewood that I also have had for a long time. The cross on the knot is completely natural.
