Inside finish: Air brushed with iridescent paint and lacquer
This is my piece for the winged lidded box challenge and the first lidded box in this series.
The handle was the biggest challenge because I don't think a knob would work so I tried a small piece of root and used small brass rod to fix it on the lid. Not quite sure if it works, what do you think?
The inside had a couple of bug holes so I filed them then airbrushed the inside, which covered them and added about six coats of lacquer.
A fun challenge and looking forward to the next one.
