Sorry, but your choice of background color detracts from the overall effect of the the message. And it creates a bit of fuzzzines at the edges. The font however, imparts a familiarity with the tone of the message and enhances its credibility.

I see some slight bleeding of the colors which could be distracting in certain cases, but the basic golden rule rectangle comes through to emphasize its basic message without being overpowering. It makes a firm statement that stands on its own.
