Seagrape wood hollow form

Turned at 50 % moisture.
After 4 sessions in the microwave and two days in the sun to turn orange the 4 x 4 hollow form is finished. Two coats of shellac applied.
Crack repaired with copper wire. Bark piece I left on fell off when the 3/4 inch hole cracked.
Looks like pith?
