Segmented Maple Swirl

This vase is the latest in a series of matched wood contour segments.
Ambrosia stained Maple with Polyurethane finish.
I do the whole thing on a bandsaw (and a lathe).
Mahogany veneer segment dividers, this vase stands 6 1/4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches in diameter.

I am interested in any feedback on this design and/or concept.
