Small Zelkova bowl

I found on my shelf a forgotten piece of the Zelkova (a Japanese member of the elm family) that I had received from a neighbor a couple of years ago. This one had a small crack that probably kept me from turning it when I worked on the other pieces of the log. It has beautiful color that has not faded at all on the pieces that I turned over a year ago. This bowl is 5 1/2” by 2”. Finished with Doctor’s Woodshop Microcrystal finish.
