This 6-inch tall vase was turned from a very interesting block of spalted Maple. The variety of grain patterns and angles inspired me to create a three-sided multi-axis turning to enhance and highlight the grain patterns. The turning rests on three carved feet. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
