Elm Burl. Dyed, lacquered and limed with gold Hampshire Sheen. I was trying for a bit of a brassy look - partially successful.
Nice. I have a few small blanks sitting on my table and wondering what I should make with them. I think this is it.
That's exactly what this was - a scrap - I had to turn away some significant cracks from the bottom and it got even smaller, but still just big enough.
