Sugar Maple Urn

Made from an 8 x 8 inch timber of Canadian sugar maple. I like the contrast between the sapwood and the heartwood. Hollowed while wet, dried for 6 months and the re-turned to final thickness. Aluminum threaded inserts used. About 10 inches high, 7.5 inches diameter. Finished with 4 coats of wipe-on poly and Beall buffed. Will sell to a local funeral home.
