Tall Cherry

This 12-inch tall vase was turned on a lathe using a technique known as therming. Therming allows unique shapes to be turned off-center with every surface curved. This is a 'twin' of another piece I displayed earlier. The cherry was enhanced with carving, texturing and coloring in selected areas. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
