Tall hollow form

Inspired by but not achieved the spectacularness of Jason Meneely's, Night Fall. I've not ventured into coloring yet. I am so impressed with Jason's work I plan to try dyeing sometime soon. I need to work on this technique first. My shape is not what I started out going for. I had planned to copy Jason's (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...” - Oscar Wilde) but the void I found along with the spalting at the level I was at caused me to stop that slender long neck. So I got Fred Flintstone's club instead. Spalted maple 19x6" finished with linseed oil and bees wax.
