Textured bowl 2

Made of cherry, 6", textured using my good old Dremel. This one used 2 different textures and I also gave the outside more of a rugged appearance before texturing it. Kept the inside nice and smooth in contrast. Finished with Watco. Best of all... sold it today :)
ed: i'm really enjoying this bowl ... really, really nice.

have you tried a mini-scaler instead of the dremel for texturing ... i switched after i lost feeling in my hand.

Thanks E! I actually tried a needle scaler at someones shop last week, seems nice and fast. I don't have air tools but this is something I would get when I do. My hand starts to bother me after a while with the Dremel. This was about 4-5 hours worth. But this bowl really feels good to hold and I am going to miss it.

The texture was done with a round diamond burr in the dremel and also using the sanding disc to score the rim. Hope this helps.
