Textured sycamore bowl
11” x 4”, finished with Walrus oil and buffed with brown tripoli
Evidence that I make things other than shiny hollow forms
. Made this bowl as a housewarming gift for some friends who just built a new home. Their only ask what that the bowl could hold their remote controls, so I make the base a bit wider than I would normally, giving it a sort of “rounded ramekin” shape. Used a 1” burr for the texturing.
