"The Blind Mason's Jar"

A lidded, footed Sycamore vessel. Turned with walls thick enough to allow for some deep carving. I liked the look of a faux brick pattern that I used previously to replace a bad spot of bark so thought I'd try it again with a bit of more is better. Can't say that I pre-planned the pattern but I have always wanted to use "pareidolia" in a sentence...
8-1/2" x 6"
Thank you for looking!
Love it, Pat. The inner brickwork form is very continuous and well done. Almost looks like the black "mortar"(?) was applied after the fact instead of the brickwork being deep carved. Cool feet too!
