I love collaborations, but different artists have different rules when working together. They take trust and sometimes, a leap of faith. I am so lucky to have collaborators who create incredible pieces for me and then just give me free reign.
This piece is called "The Hunt & The Hide". It was turned by Danielle Barbour at the Frogwood Collaboration a few weeks ago and will be in their online auction in June. Most would think that this incredible burl is "to pretty to paint" but Danielle saw wolf prints in it's beautiful grain and made it just for me. °sigh° I am particularly happy with
