THE SUN & THE MAN IN THE MOON

This segmented piece is made from Curupau and Sapele and it finished at 16" D x 7 1/2" T . After turning on the lathe there was some hand carving on the bowl section. Then I made the base from Sapele hand drawn and carved man in the moons. Everything was finished with Deft sanding sealer and then hand buffed with bees wax.
