Love this box. Nice shape and top details. Black Blackwood gets all the good press but it tends to be spectacularly boring to my eyes. Leave a bit of sapwood for contrast and "Shazam!", a knockout.

Thank you Pat! I completely understand what you mean. lol. Blackwood really is great for high highlighting other lighter woods
