Walnut Crotch Platter

Perhaps the longer walnut is left to dry, the better the colour. This piece was sawn over 30 years ago and has a wide spectrum of shades. The bark inclusion was stabilized with black epoxy. About 14 inches in diameter and finished with 6 coats of wipe-on poly.
