Walnut Urn

Made from crotch walnut, about 6 inches diameter and 9 inches high. Lid is Birdseye maple with threaded brass inserts. Four coats of wipe-on poly, Beall buffed.
Gorgeous piece of walnut, and a nice finish on your urn, Kevin. It would have been my preference for a darker lid ... the maple seems to be too much of a color contrast. My 2¢ ... even though you didn't ask for it! 😇

Thanks Tom. I’ve always liked the combination of walnut and Birdseye maple for some reason. So I don’t disagree with you, it’s just a personal preference for me. Am planning to do some more walnut urns with walnut lids. Will post.
