What Lies Beneath
Bradford Pear bowl with inner undercut rim embellished with abstract pyrography pattern (11” x 5”)
@Edward Olson great. Bradford Pear is one of my favorite woods. I use thinned wipe on poly, usually about 5 coats. Then finish it off with a furniture wax polish and buff.

Even more excited now to turn these logs since I've been using wipe on poly almost exclusively lately. Looks like I'll have to hunt down some furniture polish (recommendations?) and fashion a buffing wheel for the lathe.
Love the undercut rim as well!

@Edward Olson I use the Minwax Paste Finishing wax, Natural
