    Sanding Sealer

    I'm beginning to focus on finishing what I've started. It seems that sanding sealers are often applied to pieces at the beginning of the finishing process. Any suggestions on a particular brand? I will be following up the sanding sealer with sanding (of course) then a shine juice application...

    Twisted Segmented Spalted Maple

    This hollow form/vase is made from a single piece of old growth Spalted Curly Ambrosia Maple and segmented with Walnut veneer. It is 6 3/8 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches in diameter. The finish is shellac and wax.
