2011 Symposium Youth Registration

Ain't too proud to ask...

Hi there. I have attended the AAW Symposiums every year since Richmond and I really have a great time. My time is usually spent visiting with old and making new friends, but most of all helping out in the vendor area with turning demonstrations. I usually attend alone, but this year I would like to bring my 2 boys and let them experience woodturning lessons in the youth arena.

My question is:
Would anyone be interested in sponsoring my 2 boys? It would have to be 2 different people with paid symposium registrations. At first I didn't think this was possible (or legal) but after viewing the application form, it seems to be an accepted practice. Please email me if you are interested in helping out.

Thanks!

Leo, I cannot sponsor them, but I have a couple of questions. How old are they? Where are they coming from? How would the connection be made? Where will the boys be staying? I think the best approach would be to have someone recommend someone else. That way, you would get a better idea of who the sponsor is and help ensure safety and responsibility.
