You have worked with maple boards, walnut boards and probably some pretty exotic boards. But now is your chance to work with the AAW Board...of Directors! The Board needs a diversity of skills, and candidates with experience with nonprofit organizations or business in the areas of finance, strategic planning, nonprofit governance, or legal matters are needed. If you have been an AAW member for the past three years you are eligible to run. The Nominating Committee will select six candidates from the applicants following a review of application materials and phone interviews. In August AAW members will elect two candidates, the Board will appoint a third candidate, and all will begin a three-year term the following January.
