Hi All! I've been lurking for a few weeks now, thought I should probably do an intro post. I've been turning since May of this year, started with pens and other small mandrel turnings to get the hang of things. I've also turned some smaller boxes and Christmas ornaments/decorations over the last month.I think it's safe to say at this point I've caught the habit and I'm only limited by time and money as to what I can accomplish. :)

Here are a few of the things I’ve turned so far.

Really enjoying all of the information available here and hope to one day be able to contribute.

Welcome Andrew. The bird houses are neat ornaments - good work. Did you carve the birds?
Thanks! I took the easy way out and bought tiny birds from Michael’s for those, it was right before Christmas and was trying to complete a few last minute gifts. I did watch a video on turning small birds that looked really cool not long ago, def on my list of things to try for the next birdhouse ornaments.

I like your birdhouses!
Beats the snowmen ornaments I usually turn out.
How big around are they?
