Nominations Now Open for NICHE Magazine’s 2009 Top Retailer Awards

Sponsored by NICHE magazine, the NICHE Top Retailer Awards annually recognize the best craft retailers, arts nonprofits, museum stores and guilds in the U.S. and Canada for growing and strengthening the North American craft community. The program begins each year with nominations cast by craft artists.

Only 24 retailers will be named a 2009 Top Retailer, and only one will win the coveted 2009 NICHE Retailer of the Year award. NICHE magazine will also honor 10 retailers, arts nonprofits, museums and guilds in special categories including Best Visual Merchandising, Best Advertising Campaign and Best Arts Nonprofit.

Nominations now open through March 31. Nominate up to five galleries for a Top Retailer Award and at least one retailer, arts nonprofit, museum store or guild for any of the special categories by visiting www.AmericanCraft.com/Top_Retailer. More information, including program guidelines and NICHE magazine's Retailer's Guide to Best Practices, is available at the website.
