Woodturning Fundamentals LIVE! is a special "best of the basics" two-day virtual event on November 6th and 7th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The program is tailored to 1) beginner woodturners who want to learn the basics, and 2) intermediate turners who want brush up on fundamental skills. Attendees will learn how to get started, how to keep going, and how to get the best results (and the most joy) out of their time at the lathe.

During the live session, students will be able to:
  • Select from three concurrent learning tracks.
  • Engage and ask questions via the chat.
  • Submit work to the Woodturning Fundamentals LIVE! Instant Gallery and see the work of other participants.

Instructors
Our veteran instructors will focus on teaching woodturning basics using a holistic curriculum with progressive skill building to help students establish a solid a foundation for their future woodturning endeavors. Instructors are Kip Christensen, Beth Ireland, Eric Lofstrom, and Kimberly Winkle.

Cost
The cost is just $29 for AAW members ($49 for non-members). To make sure students don't miss a thing, registration includes access to an extended video replay of the sessions for three months. Attendees will be able to join live and view or review every session. That's 24 hours of live and recorded instruction!
