I have a Delta midi lathe model 46-455. I need a new drive belt part number 5140066-25. I have searched a number of Delta machinery sites . Most sites say unavailable. I found one for 90.00 dollars which totally unreasonable, I didn't pay that much for the lathe. Anyone know of a place or company that can make or sell after market belts or any other reasonable solution.
Thanks

Both my Delta 46-460 and Rikon 70-220 use a common serpentine belt. It’s unlikely that any maker would have belts custom made, so it’s likely to be available in some normal channel.

Try something like Belt Warehouse. It is close to me and he has tons of belts. Our club had a Sorby lathe and he had a belt to fit it.

Thanks. I just contacted belt warehouse and they have a replacement belt for 12.75. It's in the mail. Great people to deal with. Thanks for your help Gerald.
