Hey there! I’m a passionate (and slightly unconventional) woodturner, just past my first year in this amazing craft. My bowls tend to be a little... out there—so much so that I’ve earned a reputation as the oddball in my local woodturning chapter. But hey, that just makes things more fun!

Beyond woodturning, I dabble in astrophotography, jewelry making, and now I’m diving into the world of YouTube to share my creative process. My goal? To document how I make my weird and wonderful bowls, inspire others, and hopefully spark some great conversations.

I thrive on feedback—especially the critical kind—because that’s how you truly grow. So if you’ve got thoughts, tips, or just want to geek out over woodturning, I’d love to hear from you!

Here are my first two videos I'd love feedback, I'm trying to create something unique out there but I know I've got to get better at making these videos:

Welcome to the forum. The Mandala is amazing but out of reach of most. The video came out very good and like that you narrated almost al the way.
Thank you!

Why do you say it’s out of reach? I guess I feel like all the amazing turning done by others here blows my mind. I’m just brining my other hobbies into turning, I’m very much still an amateur turner(just over a year). If you watch my other video you’ll hear me admit that I’ve only ever used a bowl gouge and a skew chisel in turning and someone in the comments of the video you watched suggested I use carbide tip tools more. That tip(pun intended, see what I did there) was amazing but it also showed I have a lot to learn.
