The BIWT show is setup and the reception/formal opening is tonight (3/4/05) from 5-7 P.M. with free Pupus (finger foods).There are over 170 pieces entered and an Educational exhibit of "finding the bowl in the log" is also on diaplay. A critique of selected pieces will be done on Sat. 3/12/05, by Mr. Ray Leier of del Mano Gallery and Mr. Jack Straka, our own fearless leader (first Pres. and club organizer). There will be demos on 2 Sats. 3/5/05 & 3/19/05 and a closing/ meeting on 3/26/05.
It is being held at the Wailoa Center which is located near the bayfront of beautiful Hilo Hawaii, about 2 miles from the Hilo Airport, and admission is free. Hours are 8 Am- 4 PM 6 days a week and a member of our club will be on duty at all times to answer questions. For info, you may call the center @ (808) 933-0416.
