Big leaf ugly maple

I live in an area where there is a bunch of free wood. Most of it is big leaf or silver maple. So much in fact, that I heard someone in our local aaw group, called it "ugly maple". Well here's a couple pics of "ugly maple".... Unfortunately, my shoulder is worn out and I have to wait on the VA to do something (4 years so far). This has shut down my free wood harvesting, and all I have left is maple and a few small chunks of local myrtle.
