Good morning all. I'm Brian Milner and live in Cobourg, Ontario and am a retired Industrial Chemist and Businessman. My wife bought me a Delta Lathe many years ago, but I never really had the time to use it. I'm now 82 and have just started using the machine and just love making things. Obviously still learning a lot but have the basic working.
I'm looking forward to this new hobby and am sure I'll be asking questions.
My main hobby has been flying and racing sailplanes (gliders) and am still a very active pilot.Brian Milner-May-2009-small_edited-5.jpg

Welcome. My standard advice is to find a local turning club and join it, if you haven't already. I have/do belong to 5 different clubs and believe every one has been/is a good investment. The other suggestion is to get professional instruction. There is an enormous amount to learn and having someone guide you will speed you along the path.
