Some sort of safety screw to remove first
Threads are good. It’s the number 2 that needs replacement so no need to get the broken screw out since that mounting jaw, once removed, will be replaced. Thanks.Ouch!
Those are the jaws. You probably need to replace all 4. Axminster might recommend just replacing the damaged one.
Sometimes they are numbered or have dots. Each jaw is threaded differently on the bottom so the meet in the middle when they are in the right order. Here is a view from the vicmark manual

you don’t need to get the broken screw out as it is in the damaged jaw you need to replace.
Open the chuck all the way and the jaws should come out one at a time as you continue opening the chuck.
You might number them if they aren’t marked. Makes reassembly faster if you put them on the scroll in order.
Looks like you need to remove the safe screw.
Be sure the threads on the scroll are ok.
No but while I was on a renal transplant service, the attending dropped the donor kidney on the floor. Soaked it in antibiotics and implanted it, no issue.Get the safety screw out and should be an easy fix.
You didn’t eat Junior Mints during surgery did you, butter fingers??

NewDid you buy that chuck new or used?
Reason I was asking, I was wondering how old it was and if I needed to take mine apart and give them a cleaning.
