Deadline for submission is September 11, 2009 for 23rd Annual National Juried Exhibition of fine craft “Materials: Hard & Softâ€, at the Greater Denton Arts Council’s Center for the Visual Arts February 5- April 1, 2010. $5000 in cash awards. Original submissions in fiber, clay, glass, paper, metal, wood, or mixed media is eligible. Entry fee: $30 for up to 3 entries. Juror: Jo Lauria, chief curator of the exhibition, Craft in America: Expanding Traditions. She also co-authored the book, Craft in America, Two Centuries of Artists and Objects.
