IMG_20161223_095202496.jpg IMG_20161225_162257898_HDR.jpg My grandson and I turned a couple of ornaments this year. His was some wood that I got at WC a while back and can't remember what it was except it is a dark red color. Mine was from an ash dowel. Both were finished with several coats of CA. My grandson did about 2/3 of the turning himself. Now we are making pens. Will it never end? Attached are a couple of photos that I finally downloaded.

Ooops. New at this- need to upload as thumbnail photos. Anyway you can see the details. ;)
Edit: Deleted full photos. This was my first "official" woodturning outside of my grips for fishing rods.
