Greetings. Our club the Capitol Area Woodturners are giving serious consideration to Incorporating and applying for Non-Profit organizational status. We are looking for Pro and Con information from clubs who have incorporated. What are some of the things you ran into that you did not expect. Our main driver to incorporate is helping eliminate the risk of individual members. The positive side of non-profit is donations are tax deductible. Would appreciate any feedback.
