This is a complete system, ready to go. The chamber is a spray-foam insulated shipping container, measuring 8’x10’. We’ve been drying cherry and black walnut cutting board length wood for a few years with no issues. We’re upgrading to a bigger size kiln.
The Nyle system works great. We use the Delmhorst moisture meter with controls for up to 6 wired probes to get surface and center readings without having to open the kiln.
For details on the Nyle l53, visit: https://www.nyle.com/lumber-drying-systems/units/l53/
We do not have the powered vents. We monitor the kilns daily so manually operating the vents has never been an issue.
We ave around $18k into this, but are asking $10k.
Location - Woodstock, VT
