Hi I have just bought a dental handpiece to extend my piercing tools options and the connecting hose has two lines coming out. How do I connect these to my compressor pressure gauge?
thanks for the help
Alan
Most dental handpieces spray water to cool the tooth. If lacking any instructions you will need to experiment to find the water hose and not use that one.
Alan,
I have a few of these. The one hole Nsk Presto is easy one hole no vent. Two hole units use the large hole for in air, the small hole is exhaust. Not sure about 4 hole units but I beleive they are simular. just don't use the water hole.
Don
Thanks for the input guys. I haven't actually got the handpiece yet ( I bought it on ebay and it is coming from China. The total cost for the handpiece, tubing and a spare turbine unit came to less than £40/$60 inc.shipping) so I will work it out when it arrives. I just thought I would ask for anyone with experience of these tools for advice. At this price I thought it was worth exploring.
Alan
