hello everyone. As far as wood turning gos I’m fairly new to using a lathe. I have only had one for a little over 3 years now. I have been working with wood sense the 80’s tho. I’m a granite fabricator by trade. That’s how I pay the bills. I started as a cabinet maker in the late 90’s and shifted my professional focus to countertops.

My main source for showing my work is instagram. I mainly focus on segmented pieces.

Yes, hello - nice work, looks complicated!
I've heard of Instagram but never looked at it.

Impressive Avatar. Looks to me like you could do some teaching as opposed to learning

Welcome.

Is your avatar your own work? Mighty impressive, if I do say so! Love that design the subtle contrasts of dark against bits of light. WOW.
