Dual Caliper Board

I made this handy jig based on turning tip from the Woodworker's Journal. With this jig you can quickly and accurately set distances on both your inside and outside calipers. Mine i made in 1/4" increments starting at 1/2" and continuing through to 2 3/4" in 1/4" increments. I used a long strip of hardwood I had on hand about 3/8" square to cut the blocks I glued on a plywood back.

Dang, that’s clever! First time I’ve seen this sort of thing. Much easier than using a ruler every time. Maybe include mortise and tenon minimum diameters for chuck jaws too.

I believe the one from Rockler only does outside caliper settings not inside. It does do larger settings for the outside, but Mike's setup does a great job of covering both inside and outside.

You could also turn a step caliper. I think Lee Valley sold an aluminum version years ago.
