This appeared in a scroll saw forum I read. Novel idea but kind of eerie at the same time

Coming from someone who very recently lost his spouse: I wouldn't want my wife in that urn. She deserves better than that, and I will do better than that - - haven't made it yet for obvious reasons. If I wanted to cast a shadow of her profile, I would make a separate turning. Different idea though.

I totally agree the form is horrible and I would say that it is just cheap marketing.
 
this came out many years ago. I was asked to make one for a friend and did and looked into possibly marketing it but as you can see someone else already did.
