What is the best product to use for a good finish on epoxy bowls
I have seen people applying a final finish to epoxy bowls--I think it is shellac or a type of varnishIf you're talking about a decorative epoxy inlay then whatever film finish you normally use on the wood (lacquer, shellac, varnish ...) would be fine. If the entire surface is covered with epoxy then I agree with Allyn. Maybe you could elaborate on what you're doing.
Lots of people just sand with micro mesh. When you do there's really no need for a final finish. You could also do a spray lacquer or other similar finish. If it's a completely epoxy bowl I would just sand to the highest micro mesh grit and leave it like that. You could also use a plastic polish like HUT Ultras gloss.I have seen people applying a final finish to epoxy bowls--I think it is shellac or a type of varnish
