I spent the last couple of days figuring out how to write toolpaths for the LatheEngraver to cut an arbitrary number of facets onto a piece. This doesn't simply put a flat, it actually maintains the profile by adjusting the cut depth based on the radius.
One neat thing is that if you invert the depth of cut over the facets, you basically get a scallop. Had a false start, but once I sort it out they came out quite clean.
