Just got my kit from Frugal, and I see that the pump comes without feet. I’ve seen many pumps that comes with large, “suction cup” feet; does anyone have a source for those? Also, what’s the thread on the pump feet?
It’s going to be a while before I have it set up, as I’m rearranging my lathe area. Everything looks good.Let us know how you like the system. I’m close to pulling the trigger. That plus Odd-Not.
Plus One to what both Allen and William have had to say. Bought my Frugal setup at SWAT four or five years ago and, like them, love it. I can have it ‘up and running’ in less than a minute!I bought a Frugal vacuum pump set-up early this year and love it. It's reliable and easy to set up. It comes standard with one 4" vacuum cup. I also bought three extra sealed bearings. They came with easy-to-follow directions for making cups of any size. I make a 2.5" cup that I use to make small round doll stands for my wife.
The oil-free pump works very well. In fact, I've learned that it can also be used with a vacuum chamber for stabilizing wood using cactus juice.
No, I'm not a paid spokesman from the company, just a happy customer.
