Finish for bleached wood

I've bleached a piece of ash to the color of bone. What finish will make the least change to that bleached color? I'd like the piece as white as possible.

Bill, How did you bleach the ash? I want to try that but I don't know how. Thanks Gary

I use Velvit Aqua Shield. The process I use is on my web page.

Gary, I used a two-part liquid wood bleach made by KleanStrip. I bought it many years ago, but I think it is still easy to find in paint departments.

Best is water-based acrylic lacquer. Might also use CAB lacquer, or with no spray capability or inclination, water-based urethanes.
