Hello AAW forum members, I am looking forward to benefiting from the wide range of expertise and suggestions on the forum. We have been turning, woodworking, home remodeling, etc. for several years on/off and recently cultivated interest in turning bowls. Previous turnings (spindle mostly) ended up on display in the homes of family and friends. My and my wife’s recent interests include self-harvested wood, bowl blanks, finishes (friction & resin), and resin casting (which will require additional experience and equipment as our skill level progresses). I have completed fiberglass repair on a boat and a vehicle, but it appears that it is not applicable to resin work on turnings. Additionally, suggestions related to incorporating CNC’s influence on turning projects would be welcomed.
