Hello, I am Greg Copeland, I am a USAF veteran, will turn 50 next year and I am located in the Waco, TX area. I currently work as a business consultant but my background is in aerospace and defense. I am new to wood turning as of September of last year I purchased a Laguna1216. Since then I have been enthralled in how relaxing and therapeutic wood turning has been. I have enjoyed it so much that last week I purchased a Laguna1836(used) so that I can expand what I can do. It will definitely teach one patience if noting else. Beyond that I am a father of four fantastic kids (all grown). I am an avid bowler, I carry about a 190 average and two years ago I was able to have my first and only perfect game (300). I am married to the most beautiful fantastic woman who puts up with all my idiosyncrasy's. She is the reason I started turning as she showed an interest (watching you tube videos) she took a class at a Woodcraft store and she enjoyed it. I recently joined the local chapter (BVWT) and wanted to join the AAW to be able to gain more knowledge and share.
