I'm not one to gush, but I've just had a really positive experience with a woodworking business and that's becoming increasingly rare.

I needed some special wood for a Christmas present, found it at a business I hadn't used before and placed an order. I mentioned what specifically I wanted in the wood. Within a day, I had not one, but 2 emails back, unfortunately saying that they didn't have one piece with the spalting pattern I wanted, except one of the folks in the company had a personal piece like what I wanted. I wrote back and told them I couldn't take somebody's personal stash and just send the rest.

The wood arrived today and includes the piece from somebody's personal wood pile. All the wood looks great and has been processed well. PLUS, there's extra, unordered pieces in the box! So, thanks Brad and Mike at Got Wood? You're lousy at business finance, but terrific at exceeding customer expectations and I hope your business thrives. I'm sure to be a repeat customer.

Disclaimer: I have no financial interest in any woodturning business, but I support good people.

The order was messed up due to computer error.;)
I would rather deal with guys in white hats than guys in white coats.

The guys at Got Wood are top notch in my books. Never had a bad piece of wood and if they felt a piece might go bad they always added a piece. Just a satisfied customer.

I have bought wood from them at different times and have always had great wood sent - I even had some special cut pc's and they were quick to get them cut and sent..............great vendor
